Metro Japanese LAGARE cards (Kansai)
Hankyu Railway launched the prepaid card fare system "Lagare Through" in April 1992. A networked prepaid card fare system "Surutto KANSAI" meaning "throughout Kansai without cash," was introduced on March 20,1996. On September 1, 1997, several bus lines of Hankyu Bus participated in the new system, as did the Osaka Port Transport System (OTS) on December 18, 1997
